Playing with Emotion
with Nathan Dean
3-hour workshop
Begins 6pm on Tue 29 Sep at Centre 151
£30
Creating characters who respond like real people adds depth to your improv and can take your scenes to unexpected new places. In this workshop, you'll explore different ways to express a full range of emotions on stage, and leave with tools you can use in future shows and practices.
Nathan is one half of the improv duo A Very Capable Boy (described variously as "funny improv about sad people" and "like therapy you didn't ask for") and theatrically-minded improv team Fluff. Nathan also writes, directs, and performs in the sketch series scenesAboutLeaving, which often features characters crying with anger, smiling through sadness, or screaming with joy. So yeah...emotion.
