Fuzzy Logic is an improv company.

We run workshops designed to help improvisers find their artistic voice and develop the technical skills to express it more clearly.

Our work explores the ways improv can give to and learn from other artforms, and experiments with new ideas of what improv can do and be.

Nathan Dean

Nathan founded and runs Fuzzy Logic, and is part of the teams A Very Capable Boy and Fluff, having been improvising since 2019. Nathan also writes, directs and performs in the sketch series scenesAboutLeaving, and was previously part of the Free Association's house sketch team and their Harold team, Triple Denim.

Laura Riseborough

Laura Riseborough

Laura is a critcally acclaimed actor who has appeared in productions for the BBC, ITV, Disney, Barbican and RSC, and performed solo character comedy shows at The Pleasance, Vault Festival, Arcola Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe. As an improviser, Laura teaches at The Free Association, and has performed in shows including Austentatious, Steen Improvises with Friends, Fluff and Northern Powerhouse.

Greg Baxter

Greg Baxter

Greg is an improviser with the twoprov show A Very Capable Boy, improv team Fluff, and the narrative sci-fi improv show Space Planet Mission. He is also part of the former Free Association house Harold team Triple Denim, and has performed with numerous other FA and Hoopla house shows. Greg trained as an actor at RADA, and also works as a drama facilitator with young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.

Fuzzy Logic was founded in 2025 by Nathan Dean, following a decade's experience in the world of artist and artform development at Arts Council England and talent agency Avalon.

We ran our first workshops in July 2025. We also produce the sketch series scenesAboutLeaving and the twoprov show A Very Capable Boy, with more shows to come in future.
